XT60-1-BT50-SMB selection guide
XT60-1 Servo Facing Head for machine builders and production-equipment integrators.
XT60-1-BT50-SMB is a servo facing head for controlled radial tool movement on fixed or non-rotating workpieces with CNC interpolation. Final selection follows the workpiece, tooling, cutting load, duty cycle and machine interface.
Application fit
Start with the workpiece and process. The model name is only a starting point.
Fixed-workpiece machining
Machine selected faces and bore features when rotating the workpiece is impractical.
CNC-interpolated contours
Coordinate radial slide movement with the machine control for faces, steps, tapers and contours.
Internal and external features
Evaluate grooves, threads, chamfers and compound bore features in one process plan.
Special-purpose machines
Integrate a facing function after rigidity, workholding, control and tool access are verified.

XT60-1-BT50-SMB selection questions
Confirm these items before the drawing and quotation are approved.
What is a servo facing head?
It adds controlled radial tool movement so selected faces, steps, contours and bore features can be machined on a fixed or non-rotating workpiece.
How do I choose the facing-head option?
Send the workpiece drawing, required radial stroke, feature diameters, tool load, speed and machine envelope.
Can it replace a lathe or U-axis?
It can support selected lathe-like or U-axis-like operations, but the control, rigidity, workholding and acceptance test must be reviewed.
Are the published speeds universal?
No. They depend on the selected facing head, bearings, tooling, load, servo system and duty cycle.
What is needed for a quotation?
Provide the workpiece drawing, process, stroke, tooling, target speed, CNC control, machine interface, quantity and destination country.
Catalog source and configuration limits
JNYO product catalog, PDF page 31; Chinese edition, approximately 74 MB.
The facing-head table is a separate specification from the ordinary boring spindle. Where speeds, strokes or bearings are separated by a slash, the source does not fully map each value to each variant; confirm the complete combination rather than assigning values by their order.
Facing-slide repeat positioning, spindle roundness and finished-workpiece accuracy are different measures. Confirm test conditions and acceptance methods independently.
The drawing includes FD1010, while the table names FD-1010N. The facing table prints the bearing code 234426BM; do not silently replace it with an ordinary-spindle bearing suffix. Confirm the full assembly and bearing designation.
Weights describe pictured assemblies. Confirm the complete configuration, matching drawings, controls and supply scope before integration. Catalog values are not workpiece-accuracy or delivery commitments.
Move from product review to machine integration.
Use the model as a starting point. The approved dimensional drawing and configuration record remain the final integration reference.
Confirm mounting faces, center height, spindle interface and machine envelope.
