XT30-2 Series Boring & Milling Power Head
Configurable XT30-2 boring and milling spindle head for compact CNC special machines, modular machining stations and retrofit projects.
- Spindle interfacesNT30 / MT3 / ER32
- Maximum listed speedUp to 8,000 rpm
- Motor range0.55–1.5 kW (catalog range)
- Bearing arrangement7007 AC/DB matched pairs
For an accurate recommendation, send the operation, workpiece material, tooling, target speed, accuracy requirement and machine interface drawing.
Final specifications depend on the workpiece, tooling, cutting load, duty cycle, motor and machine interface.
XT30-2 configurable spindle platform
Compact power options with three tool-interface choices.
XT30-2 is a configurable boring and milling spindle head for machine builders and retrofit teams. Match the spindle interface, motor, drive and mounting arrangement to the real process instead of selecting from speed or power alone.
Application fit
Use the workpiece, tool, cycle and machine envelope to define the final configuration.
Special-purpose machines
Dedicated boring, milling or combined stations built around a defined part and cycle.
Compact machining units
Modular spindle-and-slide assemblies where multiple motor powers and tool interfaces are useful.
Automation cells
Integrated production modules after drive, guarding, service access and control are reviewed.
Retrofit projects
Replacement or upgrade work where mounting dimensions and the available envelope can be measured.
Published selection data
| Model platform | XT30-2 boring and milling spindle head |
|---|---|
| Housing material | Confirm the housing material and treatment on the configuration drawing; the cited XT30-2 catalog table does not specify a material grade. |
| Spindle material | Confirm spindle material, heat treatment and inspection requirements for the ordered configuration; the cited XT30-2 catalog table does not specify a material grade. |
| Spindle interfaces | NT30, MT3 or ER32 |
| Maximum listed speed | Up to 8,000 rpm; final limit depends on the spindle, bearings, drive, motor and duty cycle |
| Catalog motor range | 0.55–1.5 kW, with three-phase asynchronous or servo spindle motor configurations. Confirm the motor rating, electrical specification and drive ratio. |
| Bearing arrangement | 7007AC/DB is listed for both bearing positions in the catalog. Confirm bearing quantity, arrangement and precision class on the configuration drawing. |
| Catalog roundness | ≤0.004 mm. This catalog value is not a spindle-runout specification or a guarantee of finished workpiece accuracy; confirm the inspection method and acceptance conditions. |
| Drive options | Synchronous belt, multi-rib belt or V-belt pulley configurations |
| Motor arrangement | Separate spindle-head platform, front-mounted motor (MF) or rear-mounted motor (MB) |
| Engineering files | Request dimensional and compatible 3D files for integration review |
The cited catalog provides preliminary selection references. Confirm dimensions, materials, bearing arrangement, speed limits, motor and acceptance conditions on the configuration drawing and quotation. Roundness and spindle runout must be specified and checked separately.
Catalog reference: See the JNYO product catalog, printed pages 03–04 (PDF page 5) for the XT30-2 spindle table and front-/rear-mounted motor layouts. Chinese edition, approximately 74 MB. Request the configuration drawing before ordering.
Choose the physical arrangement first
Compare the base platform with the front- and rear-mounted motor versions before fixing the motor specification.

Five inputs for a useful recommendation
Boring, milling, drilling or combined process.
Material, feature size and expected cycle.
Tool type, diameter, interface and target speed.
Load, runout, finish and duty-cycle requirements.
Mounting drawing, envelope, orientation and control.
XT30-2 selection questions
Confirm these items before approving the drawing and quotation.
How do I choose between NT30, MT3 and ER32?
Start from the tooling, cutting load, tool-change method and accuracy requirement. Send the tool specification and operation for a complete configuration review.
Is 8,000 rpm available with every XT30-2 configuration?
No. It is the maximum listed speed. The operating limit depends on the spindle, bearings, drive ratio, motor, load and duty cycle.
How do XT30-2-MF and XT30-2-MB differ?
MF places the motor at the front; MB places it at the rear. Compare both drawings against the machine envelope, guarding, drive path and service access.
Can JNYO provide a dimensional drawing or 3D model?
Dimensional and compatible 3D files can be requested. Include the spindle interface and motor arrangement so the correct file is selected.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Send the workpiece, operation, tool details, target speed, accuracy, mounting drawing, motor preference, quantity and destination country.
Move from product review to machine integration.
Use the model as a starting point. The approved dimensional drawing and configuration record remain the final integration reference.
Confirm mounting faces, center height, spindle interface and machine envelope.
