For an accurate recommendation, send the operation, workpiece material, tooling, target speed, accuracy requirement and machine interface drawing.

Drawing-led configurationApplication reviewGlobal project support

Final specifications depend on the workpiece, tooling, cutting load, duty cycle, motor and machine interface.

XT30-1 configurable spindle platform

One spindle platform, configured around the process and machine envelope.

XT30-1 is a boring and milling spindle head for machine builders and retrofit teams. Choose the spindle interface, motor power, drive and motor position only after the machining load, speed, accuracy and installation space have been reviewed.

Application fit

The final configuration should follow the workpiece, cutting process and real machine layout—not the model name alone.

01

Special-purpose machines

Dedicated boring, milling or combined stations designed around a defined workpiece and cycle.

02

Modular machining units

Spindle modules integrated with mechanical, hydraulic or CNC slide-table assemblies.

03

Automation cells

Production equipment that requires a configurable tool interface, drive and motor arrangement.

04

Retrofit projects

Replacement or upgrade projects where connection dimensions and available space can be verified.

Published selection data

Model platform XT30-1 boring and milling spindle head
Housing material Confirm the housing material and treatment on the configuration drawing; the cited XT30-1 catalog table does not specify a material grade.
Spindle material Confirm spindle material, heat treatment and inspection requirements for the ordered configuration; the cited XT30-1 catalog table does not specify a material grade.
Spindle interfaces NT30, MT3 or ER32
Catalog spindle speed 4,500 rpm; 8,000 rpm with NSK bearings as listed in the catalog. Confirm the permitted speed for the selected spindle, bearings, motor, drive ratio and operating conditions.
Catalog motor range 1.1–2.2 kW, with three-phase asynchronous or servo spindle motor configurations. Confirm the motor rating, electrical specification and drive ratio.
Bearing arrangement Catalog designations: 7207AC/TBT and 7206AC/DB. Confirm bearing brand, quantity, arrangement and precision class on the configuration drawing.
Catalog roundness ≤0.004 mm. This catalog value is not a spindle-runout specification or a guarantee of finished workpiece accuracy; confirm the inspection method and acceptance conditions.
Drive options Synchronous belt, multi-rib belt or V-belt pulley configurations
Motor arrangement Separate spindle-head platform, front-mounted motor (MF) or rear-mounted motor (MB)
Engineering files Request dimensional and compatible 3D files for integration review

The cited catalog provides preliminary selection references. Confirm dimensions, materials, bearing arrangement, speed limits, motor and acceptance conditions on the configuration drawing and quotation. Roundness and spindle runout must be specified and checked separately.

Catalog reference: See the JNYO product catalog, printed pages 07–08 (PDF page 7) for the XT30-1 spindle table and front-/rear-mounted motor layouts. Chinese edition, approximately 74 MB. Request the configuration drawing before ordering.

Choose the physical arrangement first

Compare the base platform with the two motor-mounted versions before selecting motor power or pulley details.

Five inputs for a useful recommendation

Operation

Boring, milling, drilling or a combined process.

Workpiece

Material, feature size and expected production cycle.

Tooling

Tool type, diameter, interface and target speed.

Performance

Load, runout, finish and duty-cycle requirements.

Integration

Mounting drawing, envelope, orientation and motor control.

XT30-1 selection questions

Confirm these items before the drawing and quotation are approved.

How do I choose between NT30, MT3 and ER32?

Start from the tooling, cutting load, tool-change method and required accuracy. Send the tool specification and operation so the interface can be checked with the complete spindle configuration.

Is 8,000 rpm available with every XT30-1 configuration?

No. The catalog lists 4,500 rpm and 8,000 rpm with NSK bearings. The complete configuration, including the drive ratio, motor, load and duty cycle, must be confirmed before operating at the selected speed.

What is the difference between XT30-1-MF and XT30-1-MB?

MF uses a front-mounted motor arrangement; MB uses a rear-mounted arrangement. Compare both drawings against the machine envelope, belt path, guarding and maintenance access.

Can JNYO provide a dimensional drawing or 3D model?

Dimensional and compatible 3D files can be requested for integration review. Include the required spindle interface and motor arrangement so the correct file is selected.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Send the workpiece material, operation, tool details, target speed, accuracy requirement, machine interface drawing, motor preference, quantity and destination country.

Send the process and machine interface before choosing XT30-1.

JNYO will compare the application, spindle interface, motor, drive and mounting options before confirming a drawing and quotation.
