XT30-1 XT30-1 Series

XT30-1 Boring & Milling Spindle Unit with Motor (Rear-Mounted)

XT30-1 spindle unit with a rear-mounted motor arrangement for CNC special machines, modular boring and milling stations, and retrofit projects.

  • Motor arrangementRear-mounted
  • Spindle interfacesNT30 / MT3 / ER32
  • Catalog spindle speed4,500 rpm / 8,000 rpm (NSK)
  • Motor range1.1–2.2 kW (catalog range)

Confirm the rear installation clearance, belt path, guarding, service access, spindle interface and machine connection drawing before ordering.

Drawing-led configurationApplication reviewGlobal project support

Final specifications depend on the workpiece, tooling, cutting load, duty cycle, motor and machine interface.

XT30-1 motor-mounted configuration

Rear-mounted motor layout for a cleaner front-side machine envelope.

XT30-1-MB combines the XT30-1 spindle platform with a rear-mounted motor arrangement. Select it after checking rear clearance, belt or coupling path, guarding, maintenance access and all connection dimensions.

Where XT30-1-MB fits

The rear-mounted layout should be chosen from the full machine structure, not from appearance alone.

01

Special-purpose machines

Dedicated boring or milling stations that benefit from keeping the front side clear.

02

Modular CNC units

Slide-table and modular assemblies with sufficient rear clearance for the motor and drive.

03

Automation cells

Integrated modules after rear guarding, cable routing and maintenance access are checked.

04

Retrofit projects

Replacement or upgrade work where the rear envelope and interface can be measured.

Published selection data

Model XT30-1-MB
Motor arrangement Rear-mounted
Housing material Confirm the housing material and treatment on the configuration drawing; the cited XT30-1 catalog table does not specify a material grade.
Spindle material Confirm spindle material, heat treatment and inspection requirements for the ordered configuration; the cited XT30-1 catalog table does not specify a material grade.
Spindle interfaces NT30, MT3 or ER32
Catalog spindle speed 4,500 rpm; 8,000 rpm with NSK bearings as listed in the catalog. Confirm the permitted speed for the selected spindle, bearings, motor, drive ratio and operating conditions.
Catalog motor range 1.1–2.2 kW, with three-phase asynchronous or servo spindle motor configurations. Confirm the motor rating, electrical specification and drive ratio.
Bearing arrangement Catalog designations: 7207AC/TBT and 7206AC/DB. Confirm bearing brand, quantity, arrangement and precision class on the configuration drawing.
Catalog roundness ≤0.004 mm. This catalog value is not a spindle-runout specification or a guarantee of finished workpiece accuracy; confirm the inspection method and acceptance conditions.
Drive options Synchronous belt, multi-rib belt or V-belt pulley configurations
Engineering files Request the matching dimensional and compatible 3D files before integration

The cited catalog provides preliminary selection references. Confirm dimensions, materials, bearing arrangement, speed limits, motor and acceptance conditions on the configuration drawing and quotation. Roundness and spindle runout must be specified and checked separately.

Catalog reference: See the JNYO product catalog, printed pages 07–08 (PDF page 7) for the XT30-1 spindle table and front-/rear-mounted motor layouts. Chinese edition, approximately 74 MB. Request the configuration drawing before ordering.

Compare the arrangement before ordering

MF and MB share the XT30-1 platform data but place the motor differently.

Five inputs that prevent a wrong configuration

Operation

Boring, milling, drilling or combined process.

Workpiece

Material, feature size and expected cycle.

Performance

Target speed, cutting load and required accuracy.

Rear envelope

Clearance, belt path, guarding and service access.

Interface

Mounting drawing, orientation and motor control.

XT30-1-MB questions

These answers define what must be confirmed before quotation.

What is the difference between XT30-1-MB and XT30-1-MF?

MB denotes a rear-mounted motor arrangement; MF denotes a front-mounted arrangement. Compare both drawings against the machine envelope, belt path, guarding and maintenance access.

How should I choose the spindle interface?

Choose NT30, MT3 or ER32 from the tooling, cutting load, changeover method and accuracy requirement. Send the tool specification and operation for review.

Is the motor included?

This page represents a motor-mounted configuration, but the exact motor type, power, speed, voltage and supply scope must be confirmed in the quotation.

Can every configuration operate at 8,000 rpm?

No. The catalog lists 4,500 rpm and 8,000 rpm with NSK bearings. The complete configuration, including the drive ratio, motor, load and duty cycle, must be confirmed before operating at the selected speed.

What should be included in the drawing request?

Provide the machine interface, rear clearance, spindle center height, mounting orientation, guarding limits, belt path and maintenance access.

Send the rear envelope before choosing XT30-1-MB.

JNYO will compare the application, interface and motor space before confirming the configuration and quotation.
