SD120 Sleeve-Feed Power Head Series
Final specifications depend on the workpiece, tooling, cutting load, duty cycle, motor and machine interface.
SD120 · sleeve-feed power-head platform
One axial-feed platform, three published machine configurations.
SD120 integrates spindle rotation with controlled sleeve travel for drilling, boring, milling, facing and automated machining cycles. Compare the NT40, facing-head and high-speed BT40 configurations, then confirm the exact spindle, bearings, motor, cooling, tool release and machine interface on the approved drawing.
Application fit
Build the machining cycle around axial sleeve feed.
The same housing family can support different tooling and drive concepts. The workpiece, operation and duty cycle determine the correct configuration.
Drilling and boring
Controlled axial feed for dedicated holes, bores and stepped features in special-purpose machines.
Facing and contour work
The SZ + FS620 configuration combines sleeve feed with a published facing-head arrangement.
Automated machining cells
Rear-drive spindle integration with machine control, hydraulic services, cooling and tool-management options.

These values were transcribed from the existing JNYO source posters. They are configuration-dependent selection references. Confirm units, bearings, power, speed, coolant, tool release, motor data, acceptance method and supply scope in the approved drawing and quotation.
Selection workflow
A safer path from machining requirement to quotation.
Define the feature
Share the hole, bore, face or contour and the workpiece material.
Confirm tooling
Provide holder, tool size, speed, torque, coolant and tool-change needs.
Set the feed cycle
Confirm sleeve stroke, axial load, feed rate, dwell and duty cycle.
Approve integration
Review mounting, motor, hydraulics, cooling, controls and final drawing.
Selection questions
Questions to settle before ordering SD120.
Is 8,000 rpm available on every SD120 build?
No. It is the published maximum for the HDC-BT40 configuration. Each configuration has its own interface, bearings, drive and operating limit.
What is different about the SZ + FS620 configuration?
It adds a published facing-head arrangement with radial slider travel. Send the feature geometry, radial stroke, tool load and control requirement for review.
Can the source-sheet pressure value be used directly for hydraulic design?
No. The legacy poster states “≤ 10 kg” without a complete pressure unit. Confirm the required pressure, flow, filtration, valves and safety circuit on the approved hydraulic documentation.
Are 3D models available?
Matching STEP files exist for several SD120 configurations. Use them for envelope checks and confirm the final approved drawing before manufacturing the machine interface.
Catalog source and configuration limits
JNYO product catalog, PDF page 28; JNYO product catalog, PDF page 29; Chinese edition, approximately 74 MB.
The 140 mm sleeve stroke and 20 mm FS-620 radial slider stroke are separate motions. The HDC maximum spindle speed is 8,000 rpm; its rated motor speed is 3,000 rpm. The source pressure notation is ≤10KG without a complete pressure unit; confirm the hydraulic specification without converting this value.
Weights describe pictured assemblies. Confirm the complete configuration, matching drawings, controls and supply scope before integration. Catalog values are not workpiece-accuracy or delivery commitments.
Move from product review to machine integration.
Use the model as a starting point. The approved dimensional drawing and configuration record remain the final integration reference.
Confirm mounting faces, center height, spindle interface and machine envelope.
