JNYO CNC Hard-Rail Slide Table: Operating Precautions and Maintenance
JNYO CNC hard-rail slide tables use CNC, PLC, servo-drive, and feedback modules to coordinate accurate motion. Correct parameter setup, workpiece clamping, operating safety, cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and long-term storage are essential for reliable performance.

The control core of a JNYO CNC hard-rail slide table consists of a CNC unit, PLC, servo-drive module, and detection-feedback unit. The CNC unit interprets the G-code program and converts the tool path into pulse commands. Its interpolation algorithm supports continuous control of complex paths such as lines and arcs. The PLC handles auxiliary functions, such as controlling hydraulic fixture clamping through solenoid valves and coordinating spindle start/stop with slide-table motion.
Transmission and Feedback
The servo system uses a three-loop control architecture for position, speed, and current. The outer position loop receives real-time slide position feedback from a linear scale or encoder, compares it with the command value, and generates a speed-correction signal. The middle speed loop regulates motor speed, while the inner current loop controls electromagnetic torque output. When the table carries a load, dynamic response can be controlled within a very short time to support high-speed machining.
The closed-loop control system uses a dual-frequency laser interferometer to calibrate the full travel and establish an error-compensation table. A temperature-compensation module monitors ambient temperature changes and adjusts compensation parameters to reduce thermal deformation error. A vibration-monitoring system also collects the slide-table vibration spectrum through an accelerometer and can automatically reduce feed rate when vibration amplitude exceeds the threshold, helping protect machining quality.
Operating Precautions
- Before operation: Check that the guideway is flat and free of raised areas, cracks, damage, dust, and dirt. Wear appropriate protective equipment. Understand the slide table’s structure, performance, and operating procedures. Prepare all required tools, cutters, and fixtures in an accessible location.
- During operation: Start the slide table according to the procedure and set travel, speed, acceleration, and other parameters accurately in the CNC system. Secure the workpiece with a fixture and verify its position. Monitor machine status and machining results closely, adjusting parameters or stopping for inspection when necessary. Never stand on the slide-table surface or perform adjustments while it is moving.
- Maintenance: Regularly remove chips and foreign matter from the slide table and dry it thoroughly after cleaning to prevent rust and contamination. Lubricate with the specified product at the intervals required by the manual. Inspect fasteners, slide blocks, guideways, and guide mechanisms for looseness or detachment. For long-term storage, apply grease to prevent rust or corrosion. If a feed or spindle axis uses a DC motor, remove the brushes to prevent commutator-surface corrosion.
